The sheer volume of coursework and the pressure to perform made it quite intense. However, it was in this crucible that I discovered my inner strength and determination.
Throughout my two years, I encountered remarkable individuals who became lifelong friends, mentors and colleagues. We formed study groups and supported each other through late-night cram sessions and early morning coffee runs. These relationships not only helped me navigate the academic rigors but also provided a sense of belonging and community.
One of the most significant lessons I learned was the importance of perseverance.
Brief contributions
Bella: Had a stressful experience. Not just the academic pressures but also, pressures from commuting to early morning classes, meeting assignment deadlines among others. But now looking back, I am proud of the hard work I put in and the fruits borne today. My fondest memory will be civil procedure classes with Mr. Bobby Banson.
Manel: Law school was hectic and very demanding. Hardwork and focus had to be the only way out.
Roberta: Hmm I guess it was interesting, nerve wracking but the best part was that I got to make a lot of friends.
Francis: Stress is a household term within the legal community and legal education is no different. The course was very stressful, particularly this year having to combine school with internship. All the same I emerged victorious. Me-1, GSL-0.

1. I don’t think I have one singular word for my experience in law school. All I’d say is that I’m not sure I’ll choose this path in another life🤣
The experience was very stressful and there were several moments where I doubted my intelligence and my ability to sail through successfully.
My law school experience was filled with countless sleepless nights, lots of tears and calls home about giving up and also the wonderful feeling of friendship from the lovely people I met.
Through my experience I have become confident, resilient, very tired and very ready to take on everything that comes my way.
2. It was fairly pleasant except the early mornings. Suddenly, I feel lost without tons of things to read.🤣
I couldn’t believe it when I saw my name on the pass list. I had made it to GSL, I was beyond excited. These past two years have been memorable. Within these two years I have cried, laughed, broken down, encouraged myself, unlocked potentials I didn’t know I had.
This journey gave me relationships I can never forget.
The journey was not at all easy but I’m glad I embarked on it. I have learnt things that will aid me in my journey in life.
