Famed kumawood actor, Lil Win sued for GHC 5M

FAMED KUMAWOOD ACTOR, LIL WIN SUED FOR GHC 5M 

Famed Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah a.k.a Lil Win has been sued by Martha Ankoma (Actress) for defamation. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant made comments that were defamatory after she turned down an offer to feature in a Kumawood movie production.

She denies this claim and states that she has never made such comment to warrant the verbal attack on her. Martha Ankomah seeks damages in the sum of 5 million Ghana Cedis, with an apology and a retraction of the said defamatory words.

WOMAN FINED GHC 1200 AFTER POURING HOT SOUP ON BOYFRIEND’S WIFE.

On November, 2023, Madam Vida Ntiamoah lodged a complaint with the police after Afia Agyeiwaa poured hot palm nut soup on her back and neck in the presence of her husband. Afia Agyeiwaa was arrested and brought to court after investigation.

Afia Agyeiwaa (a nursing mother) pleaded guilty and asked the court for mitigation/mercy.The court however deferred sentence to 15th February, 2024.

Meanwhile the parties have since settled the matter amicably.

Afia was brought into the home of Madam Vida after her husband, Kwadwo Dwuma, requested for an assitant to aid his fetish work. Even though both women live in different apartments om the same compound, peace couldn’t reign.

A ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER SLASHING A POLICE OFFICER

A robbery suspect, named Francis Addo was intercepted by the police as he sped off with a stolen iphone 14 pro max and a cash sum of GHC 2400.

The arresting police officer a resident in the vicinity of the incident chased the suspect on his motorbike . The suspect allegedly slashed the police officer’s left palm with a knife when he tried to arrest him but he was overpowered and sent to the station.

The Police Officer and complainant attended hospital after police medical forms were issued.
